Privacy Policy
Short-form Privacy Notice pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR — RepFinder.eu
Last updated: January 2025
1. Data Controller and Purposes
The Data Controller is the current operator of RepFinder.eu. Personal data provided by the user (such as name, surname, business email, IP address, browsing data, and company data) will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- Provision of the SaaS service
- Operation of the “AR Necessity Checker” tool
- Management of the AR Directory
- Sending of the technical regulatory update newsletter (where explicitly accepted)
The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract to which the user is a party (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and explicit consent for the newsletter (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
2. Sharing of Data with Third Parties (Authorized Representatives)
If the user uses the contact or request forwarding features towards an Authorized Representative (AR) in the Directory, the user acknowledges and accepts that RepFinder.eu will act as a mere technical intermediary, transmitting the data entered in the form directly to the selected AR. From that point on, the third-party AR will act as an Independent Data Controller. RepFinder.eu is not responsible for the processing of data carried out by such third-party entities outside its control.
3. Retention and Data Subject Rights
Technical and account data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to provide the service and, in the case of paid accounts, for the periods required by tax regulations. The user may at any time exercise the rights provided for by the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability) by sending an email to our support service or by unsubscribing from the newsletter via the link at the bottom of each communication.
